i am a married lady; living 20 miles from downtown sacramento, dreaming of living on a ranch, and living like there's no tomorrow.

pet peeves include: when someone responds to an email and spells your name wrong, any sort of cargo tied down in a vehicle that is travelling in the fast lane, and lettuce under any type of fruit.

music is my muse. sometimes i put a little ditty down, but hardly anything to post herein.

doings, creations, and regular goings-on include: doggie day trips, working full-time and going to rock shows.

William’s words ring true for me as well. I’m also new to Metric, after hearing too much buzz I checked them out. Seeing them in a couple weeks at BFD, with some chicks who are way into Metric, should be fun. You won’t regret buying this album.

Metric - Sick Muse

From their latest effort Fantasies, this was an album highly recommended by The Mikes of TAI.  In all honesty, I’m completely new to Metric, but I love what I’ve heard.  The first few songs on the album are wonderful, particularly the one your listening to.  If you like this one, check out the song “Help, I’m Alive”, (or just buy the album).  Many thanks to the lot of you on here who recommended them in the past.  Let me know what you think, and as always, DISCUSS.
